Is ToucanPass really free?
Yes, for now. While the course is being written, every finished topic is open to anyone with a free account, and there is no card to enter. Free access is temporary: when paid plans begin it ends for all accounts, and you will be told in advance. See Pricing for details.
Does this replace the courses California requires before the exam?
No. California requires three college-level real estate courses before you can sit the salesperson exam. ToucanPass is the study tool for passing the exam itself, not a substitute for that coursework.
Is it only for the California exam?
It is built for the California salesperson exam. Core real estate concepts are taught first, and California-only rules are clearly flagged so you always know which parts are state law.
How do you know the content is accurate?
California rules are checked against the Business and Professions Code and the Regulations of the Real Estate Commissioner as they currently read. If something looks wrong to you, tell us and we will check it.
Will my progress be saved?
Your progress is saved to your account, so you can pick up on any device. Quiz scores are saved on the device you took them on.
